What is scalp micropigmentation?

Scalp micropigmentation is also known as a medical hairline tattoo. It is a non-surgical hair loss solution that replicates the appearance of real hair follicles. The result is the realistic look of a shaved hairline.

Will it look natural?

Yes! Our practitioners are fully qualified and experienced. We understand that hair loss can be devastating and therefore we work with you to choose the correct colours, density and softness of your natural hair. Making you feel younger, more confident and happier.

How do I know if I am suitable?

Scalp pigmentation is suitable for all stages of hair loss and all skin types. We use four shades to complete your scalp tattoo making it look natural.

What stage am I at? And what treatment should I choose?

We offer four levels of treatment with price brackets.

Scar Coverage

Scars can appear from natural development, trauma, operations and transplant surgery. This treatment can also help cover birthmarks and burns.

Receding hairline

When hair remains but you require a hairline and side profile that makes the remaining hair appear thicker.

Top of Head

Where areas have thinning hair or no hair remains. Such as crown areas. This also includes correction of a receding hairline.

Whole Head

For those with no hair or close to no hair remaining. This treatment gives the illusion of a shaved head.

What is the process?

You can book online here, or if you would like a consultation then call our clinic on 07985228101. Your first appointment will last 3 to 4 hours. This will achieve the hairline and first fill. With a break of at least 7 days you will return for a second session that will be to add texture and density. This will be 2-4 hours depending on your requirements. You will be required to take another 7 day break and return for your last session, between 1-4 hours. This will be to perfect and check the results.

How can scalp micropigmentation be used?

  • Give the appearance of fuller, thicker head of hair

  • Replace a receding or thinning hair line

  • Camouflage areas of alopecia

  • Camouflage scars, burns and birthmarks

  • Rejuvenate thinning and balding hair such as the crown area

I have had a FUT / FUA hair transplant, can I still have scalp micropigmentation?

If you have had follicular unit transplantation (FUT) or follicular unit extraction (FUE) you may have scars. Micropigmentation can assist with covering these scars and can be used to enhance the results of FUT/FUE .
